Hello to all,
I've just installed the RedHat 9 (dual-boot with Micro$oft Windows XP)
on my laptop and all works fine with exception of the soundcard. I think
that can be a PnP problem because if I boot the Micro$oft "OS" first and
then reboot under Linux, the soundcard works well otherwise (if I boot
directly under Linux) the soundcard fails (no sounds at all). I've
readed the Sound-HowTo but it's old and talk about ISA PnP, I've an
Intel AC'97 PCI audio adaptor (I've enabled the experimental kernel
support) so I don't know how to force IRQ and addresses.
Thanks to all,
Gaetano
