I have a PC with a VIA C3 processor I want to have running FC2. The
problem is that during the installation process the system gets into a
reboot loop cycle very early into the installation process.

There is a note on VIA C3 incompatibility at
http://fedoranews.org/updates/FEDORA-2004-137.shtml
and it indicates the problem is solved in later revs of the kernel. That
is nice, but the problem I have is how do I get the system up to allow
me to address the problem? (i.e. this seems to be a chicken or egg problem).

Is it possible to replace the kernel on the installation CD set in some
simple manner with a later release or is there some other way I can
tackle this problem?
