    hi..
    i'm having Fedora Core 1 on /dev/hda5, Redhat 8.0 on /dev/hda2 , swap
    on /dev/hda3 & Windows XP on /dev/hda1. Recently, i installed
    Xandros2.0(Open Circulation Edition) on /dev/hda6.
    Now the problem is that i can easily boot into fedora core 1, RH8.0 &
    Xandros2.0. but whenever i tried to boot into Windows XP..i get the
    following errors:
    autochk program not found: Skipping AUTOCHECK
    STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
    The Session Manager Initialization system process terminated
    unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000)
    The system has been shutdown.

    with Xandros2.0 installed on my system..the /etc/lilo.conf looks like
    this:

    boot=/dev/hda
    install=/boot/cboot.b
    message=/boot/splash.lilo
    timeout=100
    map=/boot/map
    prompt
    fix-table
    lba32
    read-only
    disk=/dev/hda bios=0x80
    other=/dev/hda1
            label=W<>\xae_Xp
    image=/vmlinuz
            label=[]s_Desktop_2.0
            vga=0xf04
            root=/dev/hda6
            initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.24-x1.gz
            append="rw acpi=on"
    image=/vmlinuz
            label=Safe_Video_Mode
            vga=0xf04
            root=/dev/hda6
            initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.24-x1.gz
            append="3 rw acpi=on"
            vga=0xf04
            root=/dev/hda6
            initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.24-1x. gz
            append="rw acpi=on"
    image=/vmlinuz
            label=Safe_Video_Mode
            vga=0xf04
            root=/dev/hda6
            initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.24-1x.gz
            append="3 rw acpi=on"
    image=/disks/redhat/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.18-14
            label=Red_Hat_Linux
            initrd=/disks/redhat/boot/initrd-2.4.18-14.img
            append="ro root=LABEL=/"
    image=/disks/fedora/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl
            label=Fedora_Core_rel
            initrd=/disks/fedora/boot/initrd-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl.img
            append="ro root=LABEL=/1 rhgb"
    image=/vmlinuz
            label={}ure_(Expert)
            vga=normal
            root=/dev/hda6
            initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.24-x1.gz
            append="single rw acpi=on"

    Then i removed the hda6(Xandros2.0) partition & install the grub boot
    loader but still i cannot boot to Windows XP but easily boot into
    RH8.0 & FC1.the problem remains the same.

    pls tell me wht is the actual proble & how to get it correct..so that
    i can install back Xandros2.0

    Thanks,

    Ali
