[Newbie] Installing Lite-On DVD/CD Rewriteable Model SOHW-812S Fedora Core 1

    Hi Folks

    I have found documentation to install a CD burner in Fedora, but not for
    this DVD unit. I wish to use it to backup Samba partitions and would
    appreciate any assistance in installing it and recommendations on possible
    programs for writing the backups to it.
