Hello:
This is strange.
When I upgraded from RH9 to FC2 this worked fine.
Then I upgraded (smae system) from FC2 to FC3.
Now, the CD-ROM works fine with data CD's. (can mount, etc...).
But with music CD (using KsCD), I get an error message.
/dev/cdrom does not exist anymore. (but /dev/hdb is there,
and /media/cdrecorder too, but KsCD is lost and gives an error message
related to "/dev/cdrom".
Any idea on how to fix this?
--- I someone get the feeling that "fresh install" (that I am reluctant to do for now), may fix the problem. When the system boot, I still get the old RH9 warning message telling that FAT32 is still ALPHA. But rather than reinstalling the system, could I not refresh the scripts? If yes which ones, and how is this documented. ---- Thanks.
