cannot start 3 services after FC3 upgrade

Recently I upgraded 2 of my computers from FC2 to FC3 (via CD).
Immediately after upgrading to FC3 on those machines, I ran YUM to
`update` the installed packages to the newest versions. All appeared to
work correctly. However once rebooted each machine showed the same 3
services being unable to start. They all have the same lib permission
errors you see below.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
> service httpd start
Starting httpd: /usr/sbin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries:
libpcre.so.0: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied [FAILED]

> service portmap start
Starting portmap: portmap: error while loading shared libraries:
libnsl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied [FAILED]

> service syslog start
Starting system logger: syslogd: error while loading shared libraries:
libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied [FAILED]
-----------------------------------------------------------------

The noted lib files are in the correct places & have correct permissions
(when compared to another FC3 computer which was upgrade from FC3 Test2 -
which doesn't show these errors).

Google has been of minimal help on the issue. The only thing that I could
find is that the issue may be related to SELinux permissions.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

James T.
