    Hi,
I am new to Linux and I have Fedora Core 2 on my computer, a friend
of mine installed it on my computer for me at his house. Umm... when
he installed X Windows it was on a Viewsonic monitor.
I got the box home and went to boot up and the monitor; which
is a Samsung; it goes to sleep when it
I am guessing that x windows needs to be changed and
reconfigured, but I can not get into the system.
I tried to login as root using the recovery CD but it I am not
sure where to go after that... I figure that it has to be configured
from the command line or a utility that runs from the command line.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Rick
