FC3 i386 install oddity

To all
Some weeks ago I installed FC3 64 bit version on my RAID 0. No problem but
the 64 bit version doesn't have any "Flash plugins" etc. so I decided to try
the i386 install version on my RAID array. The install CD boots fine then
I get a message about FC3 "disabling IRQ 10" and it hangs.
Anybody??
