    Running Fedora Linux

I know I have the CDROM installed, that's how I installed Linux.

The sound card was detected with no problem.

However, when I insert a Music CD, the CD Player starts and I can see
the bar moving but no sound comes out of the speakers. When the
sound card was detected, I heard the sound very clearly.

The hardware browser shows the following:

    Cyberdvr CW088D CD-R/RW
            Device: /dev/scd0
    Pioneer DVD-ROM ATAPIModel DVD-1140117
            Device: /dev/hdc
    R/RW 8x4x32
            Device /dev/hdd

The Sound Juicer shows an error: No CD-Rom drives found. Sound Juicer could not find any
    CD-Rom drives to read.

Does anyone know how to correct this problem so I can set up both drives,
    a CDRW and a DVD?

    Thank you in advance
