Install expects floppy drive during initial install

I am trying to install Linux Red Hat ES Server 3.0 onto new hardware.
The install software does not recognize the hard drive (a Seagate),
so I need to install a driver for the hard drive. Unfortunately the
install software won't release the cd drive and expects the driver to
be in the floppy drive. Unfortunately, this new computer has no floppy
drive.

Does anyone have a workaround?

Thanks.
