how to use a scsi tape

hello!

i install a redhat enterprise 4 on a ibm x336. i have just a problem! i add
a scsi controller on it for using a scsi tape, but i don't know how to see
on linux if my card is installed and witch device i should mount to access
to my tape.

can you help me!
