Hello People,
Computer: Compaq Proliant 800 PII
Adaptec SCSI PSI AHA-2940UW PRO
OS: Redhat 9
What I am trying to do: Trying to load driver aic78xx before kickstart
install.
What I have done that works;
For some reason the Compaq proliant will hang when the install probes
for hardware. So I Install Redhat 9 using; linux noprobe , I'm
loading the aic7xxx driver and all works fine.
This what I need to do;
Install redhat 9 on same computer using kickstart.
What I have done; start install and issue, linux noprobe ks=floppy. The
problem I am having is how do I get the installer to ask me for the
SCSI Driver?
Do I issue a command within the kickstart ks.cfg file? If so what is
the statement?
Other recommendations?
Thanks, Rick
