I recently upgraded from FC1 to FC4. In FC1, my CD drive was recognized
by xcdroast as 0,0,0 and my CDR/W was 0,1,0. With the upgrade, xcdroast
no longer sees the CDR/W and sees 2 copies of the CD drive.
When I look at /dev, there is a cdrom which links to hdc and a cdrom1
which also links to hdc. /dev/hdd (which doesn't exist) should be the
CDR/W (based on how things are cabled up).
I suspect the root of the problem is udev, and it's configuration, but I'm
not sure how to fix it.
Any clues would be most appreciated
Bruce
