UDF / DVD-RAM problems with latest kernels?

Hi:
I have use UDF with DVD-RAM without a hitch for quite a while....
Not anymore: strange things happens.
For example after mounting a new media I see directories from the previous
one!
I have updated kernels... and did not use the DVD RAM, I tend to remember
than kernel 1339 was working ok.
But it may not be a kernel issue.
