Yea, things are a bit different with the 2.6 kernel series and sometimes
this requires some re-thinking. You should start by reviewing the manpage
for mkinitrd
FYI: Red Hat Fedora Core likes to use partition labels instead of the actual
partitions. Sometimes this can cause problems, like your error message.
Hint: You need to build a new initrd image and add the modules you want/need
at this time, see the --builtin and --with switches.
