Yes, I saw your post in another group..... Do Not use ghost on any Linux
system. The original version of ghost (before Symantec purchased it) was
written and based for OS/2. Became so popular for cloning Windows system
Symantec purchased it. A few versions later it no longer worked from OS/2
and the current versions do not handle Linux partitions correctly, the 1999
version is the last version I know of that can handle ext2 partitions
fairly well. Best advice is to use Windows based tools for Windows and
Linux based tools for Linux.
You might want to look into using parted (and maybe qtparted a GUI to
parted) and Partimage as a replacement for ghost for Linux. I have found
that the SystemRescueCD works well for this;
