Try removing the second hard drive, does the system now boot??
If yes, then modify both /boot/grub/grub.conf and /etc/fstab to use the
actual drive/partition info (dev/hda2 and so on) instead of the partition
labels. If both hard drives have /root, /boot and so forth this will cause
problems. It may help if each hard drive is also on a different bus (IDE0
and IDE1).
