kernel hangs

HI
I have fc4 with a kernel-2.6.14-1.1644_FC4 and this is last version
which works. I tried 1653 and 1656 adn both failed on boot with last
info:
SElinux: registering netfilter hooks

when i used selinux=0 as a boot option it stoped on a:
ide0:bm-dma 0x8418-0x81f, bios settings: hdc:dma, hdd:pio
ide1:bm-dma 0x8410-0x817, bios settings: hda:dma, hdb:pio


i have no idea what happend, configuration of my machine didn`t change
a it works well right now with that older kernel.
