Is it possible to setup LVM using the text install in Fedora Core 5 using

I don't know about FC5, but earlier versions did not have good disk layout
capabilities in text mode. What I ended up doing was a text install as
best I could and also a graphical install with the layout I wanted.
The resulting log files taught me enough that I could build one that
would do the disk layout I wanted in text mode (and w/o having to interact
with the install at all).
There's even a feature in kickstart which permits a script to be run after
the basic install is complete. Using all this, we've been able to
automated installation of new Linux machines completely, even with custom
changes to iptables, fstab, modprobe.conf, etc. It's very convenient.
