Why haven't you used 1024x768 (the native resolution of your TFT)? Also,
I know the VESA driver should work on most hardware, but why not try the
'nv' driver supplied by XFree86 for use with GeForce cards. Or, if
you're feeling brave/desperate try the proprietary NVidia driver
available on their site. Also, try switching off the dpms option, it may
just be going to sleep!
BTW you need to read-up on your posting etiquette (as many peopled have
said before).
1) You're not multi-posting anymore (good), but you're cross-posting to
too many ngs: 3 is an absolute maximum. If you feel you need more your
question is probably too general: make it more specific or do a google
search (you should do this anyway as most questions have been asked before).
2) When cross-posting always set a follow-up.
3) *Never* send attachments. Paste the relevant text into the message
itself.
HTH
Chris.
