XMMS mp3 package questions

I downloaded the xmms mp3 package from freshrpms.net.

It's a source rpm. The problem is - when I went to install it -
directories are missing. The rpm wants usr/src/redhat/SOURCES - a
directory which doesn't exist.

I created it to satisfy rpm - but what it loaded there won't work either.

I tried the install-sh - but it's looking for directories that don't
exist either.

And this looks like much more than a plug in. It looks like the whole
XMMS package.

I can't find installation instructions anywhere - in any of the source
directories, etc.

Has anyone had luck installing this?

thanks in advance....

Bob
