Hi all

I'm a new linux user and a quite new happy RH9 user :)

I'm a little problem: I cannot connect to internet and I don't know why.
I know to be connected (when I ping my provider DNS it reply) but the
browser (mozilla) tell me that each page I want to see is unreachable.

Someone told me there can be a firewall, but I don't installed one, and I
don't know if RH installed a firewall on its own and don't know how can I
configure it.

Also, I tried to edit the /etc/resolv.conf file writing my provider DNSes,
but when I run startmodem (I use the eci-adsl drivers because of my damn USB
modem) seems that when it start the ppp0 this overwrite my changes with two
DNS I don't know it find.

Yes, there are much "I don't know" in my problem :)

Please, someone can tell me some (newbie) solutions?

See you!
