Lost download

You must see this quite often, but here goes anyway. I downloaded
Realplayer, ran the install, and promptly lost it somewhere in the system.
I tried finding it manually, through "whereis", "find" etc. to no avail.
Damn thing loaded so fast I couldn't see where it ended up. All I really
want to do is find it...so I can use it. BTW, will it play mpegs? Or
will I have to go for something else?

Thanks a lot for the help. It is appreciated.

Rocky
