I have Linux RH8.0. I tried to look on a page:
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/painting/ImageDisplayer.html
where there is example of an applets. I got a message:
"The page contains information of a type (applications/x-java-vm)
that can be viewed with the appropriate Plug-in). Click OK to download
Plugin".
I downloaded/installed plugin, reopened the page, but still I am getting
the sme message. I want to add that some time ago I installed the new Java
from Sun.
So what is going on? Why applets are not working? Any idea?

Thanks,

Zalek
