Hello,

After installing RedHat9.0 i decided to configure the box to use my
Blueyonder cable modem. I tried using both DHCP and manually setting the IP
info. My hostname has now gone from localhost.localdomain to w2k, the
hostname i used for a windows 2000 machine previously using the NIC/Modem.
I've so far looked in /etc/sysinfo/network, /etc/hosts, resolve.conf, and
system settings|network without seeing any reference to the unwanted
hostname.
Can anyone help me finally rid myself of any windows referece ?!#

Regards,

T
