Hi,
I have RH9 with the Samba 3.01pre and cups 1.1.19
and it has ghostscript 7.05 installed with lots of dependencies.
I want to use ESP ghostscript version 7.07 because
it has ready made cups support.
7.07 installed into a different directory than 7.05
/usr/share/ghostscript/7.05 vs. /usr/local/share/ghostscript/7.07
I did a "gs -h | cups" and cups support is not reported so
I think the ESP 7.07 cups support is not being utilized.
The other option mentioned was patching and recompiling
with cups support which is an inferior solution.
How do I make the system reference the 7.07 resources?
I don't know which files control/configure the usage.
Regards,
Stephen
