Hello all,

I'm using RH 9 and noticing that it takes more that 3 seconds
to check for user name and password at login process.
I have only one administrator and one user in
the system password profile.

1. Why does it take so long to compare only two login names and passwords?
2. Why does it treat <ESC> key at login prompt different than other
non printable key?

Thank you,
Have a great thanksgiving!

Dennis
