my removable usb once more

I mm looking for a Unix guru or wizard:
guru: a very knowledgable Unix/Linux fellow
wizard: someone who can write device drivers with the cat command, like
cat >driver.c
..

A hacker is also nice, as long as he hates carmageddon

I bought myself a 120GByte usb drive what runs like a champ with the
same called drivers in win2000, and very fast.

Can any of those people help me, to get it running? Should I use the
mknod command, and on what major/minor devices?
