Add-ons for mozilla (home-button)

Hi there,

i hope, this is the right forum here ...

I use RH9 and i have installed mozilla browser 1.5 (stable version). I
want to use the many different mozilla add-ons. Some of this are very
useful.

In example the add-on "home-button"
(http://home.no.net/trihand/mozilla/home/en/)

If i start my mozilla and try to install this add-on as root i get this
button. But i get this button only under my root account. If i login as
normal user the button is'nt there anywhere.

If i look into the chrome folder i see the home.jar file have only the
400 permissions. I changed this to 777 (only temporarily) but nothing is
happend.

Do you have any ideas what i can do anymore?
