    Greg,

    I don't use Nero for burning CD. Instead I use Easy CD Creator & Easy CD
    Pro 95 with my various burners [NEC, Ricoh, Smart & Friendly, etc...]. This
    is just an observation, but if I don't select the 'Write Method' as 'Disk At
    Once' when writing ISOs, the disk will not work correctly (no matter when
    brand CD I use - cheap or expensive). The default 'Write Method' of 'Track
    At Once' with the 'Close CD' option produces coasters all the time... See
    if there is a similar write feature/option in your Nero program.
