FYI,
I have the same problem with SUSE 9.0 Pro, Clean install.
looks for 2.4.21-99-default and I have 2.4.21-99-smp4g
uname -r = 2.4.21-99-default
ls -al /boot/ references 2.4.21-99-smp4g
Any input?
