Hi group,
I run RD8.
My soundcard sometimes just stops making sound.
That is for both CDplayer and XMMS.
I was looking in etc/init.d/ for something I could try to restart (eg
sndsystem or something.), but found nothing that had a name that even
sligth suggested a soundsystem.
I am obviously looking in the wrong place.
Kudzo did the install for me, so I am not really aware where to look.
How can I reinitialize the soundsoftware without a reboot?
Should I read some manual? (couldn't find anything appropriate when
googling)
Thanks for your time!
Regards,
Erwin Moller
