Hi again. Let me tell you what I have done:
I changed the /etc/modprobe.conf file, booted with 2.6.3, loaded a few
modules (snd-intel8x0, snd-mixer-oss, snd-pcm-oss) run
'gnome-volume-control', and run 'gnome-sound-properties' to test some
sounds. It worked!
But then I typed 'mpg321 Track01.mp3'. Music started for a few seconds,
and stopped. I think mpg321 continued as if nothing had happened.
This is the output from the 'dmesg' command (I don't know why it isn't
complete).
