I've taken my nice new Dell D800 and loaded up
fedora on it, after much messing about it is
displaying at 1920 x 1200 however it looks
very manky.
I think this is due, to it stretching the
screen out, raher then using a nice proportional
font. My modeline is :-
Section "Modes"
Identifier "16:10"
# 1920x1200 @ 100.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 127.10 kHz; pclk: 337.58 MHz
Modeline "1920x1200" 162 1920 1984 2176 2480 1200 1201 1204 1250
Can anyone offer me a line that will work better then this. I would HATE
to have to load up XP Pro back on it, but I really can't use the box
like it is.
Regards
Matt
