Sendmail SMTP AUTH problem

Hi,

Believe me when I say I've searched for the answer to this dilemma for
days now, and nothing works.

I have a Redhat 9 server running sendmail, being NAT'd by a firewall.

I need to be able to allow clients who roam around on everything from
laptop modems to semi-static IP DSL connections to connect to the
server and use it as an SMTP relay after authenticating with SMTP
AUTH.

Previously, this server was not NAT'd, rather it was running behind a
firewall but on a live IP. SMTP AUTH ran absolutely fine for ages. We
recently moved datacentre, and it's stopped working.

We're getting 5.7.1 Relaying Denied / IP Lookup failed errors all over
the place now, and it's driving me crazy trying to track them down and
fix.

Anyone got any ideas?
