I just got an HP photosmart 7260 printer to replace my old printer that
died. On my old computer I made an educated guess as to what driver to
use, since the CD-ROM that comes with the printer has drivers only for
Windows 98 and newer, and Apple.
But I would really like to configure the printer on my new machine, so
does Red Hat supply the hpijs printer as an RPM for RHEL 3? I do not seem
to have it on my machine. I have downloaded the source of hpijs-1.6.2 and
could build and install it, I suppose. But if there is a pre-built RPM for
RHEL 3, I would prefer to use that.
