Of course. That is one of the things you are paying so much for.

Sure. But since I am on dialup, downloading takes much more time than
installing, so I just let up2date download everything and then install them.

At any time you run up2date, unless you take steps to prevent it, it will
make your system up to date as of the time you do it. If you are starting
with RHEL 3 ES as distributed on the CD-ROMs, it is going to take you
quite a while as there are several hundred packages updated by now.

Yes. But you get a free registration when you buy RHEL 3 ES.
