VLC from http://www.videolan.org plays many formats. Some versions like
WMV3 zijn proprietary formats and will most likely never play on GPL
software unless their owner (Microsoft in this example) sees the light.
Same goes for many new formats which are often patented.
Just boycot all that WMV3/QT crap. You won't miss it :-)
