Bizarre failure of all network connectivity?

I am using RH9 with Apache/SSL/PHP/MySQL.

Everything was working fine.

All-of-a-sudden, with no apparent interaction on the server, all network
connectivity was lost.... could not ping out/in, http out/in, nothing. Pings
to local IP address work. but nothing outside the box.

I have a Linksys router and another computer connected on the same LAN. The
other machine is still working fine throughout. Indications on the router
show all lights as expected for TX/RX with server.

Any suggestions (other than reload everything from scratch.)?

Thanks!
Chip
