the flash disk is easy ....

in gnome all you need to do is right click on the desktop ... and select the
usbkeyt you set up in the fstab file ..

see below
fstab file ...

/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbkey vfat noauto,user 0 0

make sure you create the directory first ... i.e. /mnt/usbkey (can be under
your home directory if you want)

probably the same for the flash key but i dont have one. ....

the modem might be a bit trickier ... is it a software or hardware modem

if its a software modem => bad luck it needs windows code .... only in
windows .. :(

burning cd is easy ... just go into nautalis and select burn cd ...
