Let's backup for a moment:

You have a DSL router provided by Ameritech, correct? And you have a
Netgear Router, correct? So what is plugged into what? Do you have the
incoming phone line connected to the DSL router, then the network patch
cable connecting the DSL router othe Netgear Router ( plugged into the
cable/dsl port on the Netgear ), and then the RH9 computer connected to one
of the standard network ports of the Netgear??
