Hello all,
I've just loaded RH9 and am trying to connect to Redhat Network to update
my system. The first thing I have to do is download the updated up2date
SSL certificate authority file.
https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2003-267.html
That page offers me the choice of 3 rpms.
SRPMS: up2date-3.1.23.2-1.src.rpm
i386: up2date-3.1.23.2-1.i386.rpm
i386: up2date-gnome-3.1.23.2-1.i386.rpm
Which one sould I choose & why?
I know what an rpm is, and I know that an i386 rpm is suitable for Intel
386 and better cpus (I'm running a PIII).
But what is an SRPMS*? Any why is there a gnome option? What difference
does that make? (I'm running the default gnome gui).
Thanks in advance.

* Yes I have googled, and no, it didn't help.
