I just installed Red Hat 9 onto my PC. I did the install as a server,
installed all the server needed things and "X".
I've followed all the installation instructions word for word. All
seems to work well, I can surf the net, I was able to print with the
printer hooked up locally and the it can see the three other computers
on the local network. But none of the other computers can see it.
Server is RH9, all three other PC's are Windows XP.
The samba I am using is the one that came with the downloaded RH9 ISO
images.
The Red Hat Customization guide just said to use Windows network
neighborhood to get the XP machine to connect to the Samba server but
none of the PC's see the server.
What have I missed?
(PS, this is cross posted in the redhat.install group as well, but
have not received a response.)
