Bug Fix Advisory - RHBA-2003:179-05
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary:
Mailman RPM does not properly handle package installation and upgrade.

The mailman package for Red Hat Linux 9 does not properly handle package
installations and upgrades.

Description:
Mailman is a mailing list manager.

The mailman-2.1.1-2 package shipped in Red Hat Linux 9 has an RPM
installation bug that leaves a critical configuration parameter
uninitialized, preventing the package from properly running after
installation. On upgrade the package also fails to preserve the user's
previous configuration file, resulting in data loss.

Users of mailman-2.1.1-2 should upgrade to the updated package, which is
not susceptible to this issue.

Taking Action
-------------

You may address the issues outlined in this advisory in two ways:

      - select your server name by clicking on its name from the list
available at the following location, and then schedule an
        errata update for it:
            https://rhn.redhat.com/network/systemlist/system_list.pxt

      - run the Update Agent on each affected server.

I tried the Update Agent which told me I was fully updated. So I then
  downloaded: mailman-2.1.1-4.i386.rpmmailman-2.1.1-4.i386.rpm
[root@linux rhn-packages]# rpm -Uvh mailman-2.1.1-4.i386.rpm
error: mailman-2.1.1-4.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: BAD, key ID db42a60e
error: mailman-2.1.1-4.i386.rpm cannot be installed

[root@linux rhn-packages]# rpm -Uvh mailman-2.1.1-4.i386.rpm
error: mailman-2.1.1-4.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: BAD, key ID db42a60e
error: mailman-2.1.1-4.i386.rpm cannot be installed

Why won't the sucker install? I have the latest up to date rpms.
