I use redhat 9 with a nvidia gf3 card. The latest nvidia driver is
installed and works fine. The problem is that I cannot change the
resolution above 800/600. The option is available in settings, but when I
select it, it says 'changes will take place when you log back in.' When I
log back in, nothing is changed.
In XF86config there are only choices for "800, 600" and "640, 440". I
tried manually deleting those and adding "1026, 768" but then I got a ton of
errors when I restarted.
Has anyone else had the same problem and know the remedy?
Best regards,
J Jordan
