Samba 3.0 download

Hi,
 I have not been working with Linux that long. I currently have Redhat 9.0
installed, and I believe Samba 2.0 or 2.2, what ever release is on the
Disk. Anyhow, I am at samba.org, and I see the download file for Samba 3.0.
It looks like about 6 separate files date Sept 24. Am I suppose to download
all of these to my hard drive? If so, what do I do next? Will this do an
inplace upgrade from the version I now have?
