Hello,

we have set up a 1 GH AMD with 750 MB Ram OS RedHat9 as TS for 12 clients in
our school. It works fair, but sometimes the following happens:
unexperienced younger kids click to start e.g. OfficeOrg writer in Gnome; as
the server is rather busy the application does not start at once, the mouse
pinter does turm into the "watch" symbol and suddenly turns back into the
"normal" mousepointer. However , the desired application is still loading
and will finally start. But the child does not realize this and keeps on
clicking on the symbol which makes the apllication start again and again.
Finally the server is totally overloaded and all clients are frozen :-(

Can there anything be done against this, exept buying better hardware which
we can not afford ?

Frank
