Hello,
I am new to Linux and have recently installed RedHat9 on my new
machine which will be used at home for programming/testing and maybe
occassionally serving an app in the dmz for outside testing.
Everything seems to be running smoothly after the install. Only thing
is during the install the installer asked me what size I wanted my
partitions to be (ie. root, swap, usr etc) ... I used all of the
defaults even though the total number did not add up to my 40G worth
of space on my HD. So I guess now I need to allocate this space to
another partition? Is there a standard practice in Linux that one
would use for this extra space? Or do I just throw it onto one of the
other existing partitions?
Now ... how do I do it??? =) (any good articles explaining how to do
this)
Thanks,
Chris
