Hi there,
I have an IBM ThinkPad T30 laptop running Red Hat Linux 7.2.
When heavily using the hard drive (e.g. copying a big file), the rest of the
machine grinds to a halt, mouse cursor can't move intermittently, it takes
very long time to open a new window until the copying is completed.
Is there anything that can be done to improve/tune disk/system response
time?
Any idea would be appreciated.
Ross
