trying to upgrade gphoto2 but problems occuring on RH8.0

Hi, I am trying to upgrade gphoto2 on my RH8.0 (kernel 2.4.20-20.8) to
use USB with Canon A300 camera. I here is what I get:

$> rpm -Uvh --test gphoto2-2.1.3-1.i686.rpm

Any idea how I solve this problem?
